First off, this game is amazing! It has grown on me unlike any other game. I’m enjoying it so much, I thought I’d bring my feedback, something I don’t usually do. I’m posting this in the hopes that someone will see it. Maybe these are all repeat items you’ve already seen, but then maybe my posting emphasizes their importance.
Hide headgear: This should also be hidden on the main menu screen and anywhere the character portrait appears.
Items, Inventory & Drops:
Let us mark items to sell / junk and then mass-sell them.
Show a comparison for an item for sale by an NPC to the item currently equipped.
Auto pick-up option for resources.
The clock is confusing, and I don’t recall it being explained. If everything is resetting based on my real-world system clock, I’m not sure of its purpose. If it is to show the day/night cycle in the game world, that’s great, but maybe explain this or use this better?
Consider allowing the player to “preview” a house before buying it. Who buys real estate without looking? ![]()
On things like the Facets (e.g., Razor, Bulky, Insulated, etc.) can you just give us the percentage impact on the plus-minus? Otherwise, you’re just driving us to third-party tools.
Pestilence: When I got to my first pestilence zone, I cleared it. But no others spawned, and I had already used one of my materials on upgrading an item, so I couldn’t trade for an effigy. A really, really long time went by without this end-game activity, which was not fun. Maybe I’m a noob and missed how to deal with this, but if so, perhaps explain what to do?
It is a little annoying when you first get to Fillmore at the mess hall and he doesn’t have the item you want to play in stock. This brings on cheesy methods like restarting in a new realm over and over ‘til you get what you want.
For Infusion of gems, I know you have warning screens. But the labels “DESTROY” and “EXTRACT” could be improved. I suggest “DESTROY GEM (KEEP ITEM)” and “EXTRACT GEM (DESTROY ITEM)” to help with this problem. It could also help if you have a way to revert this if a mistake was made.
Similarly, a “buyback” option would be helpful in case the wrong item was accidentally sold.
Finally, you really need to warn people that the enchantments extracted from blue items can only go back on a blue item, and not on plagued items. Maybe you did, but I am seeing this ALL THE TIME in the community of new players, so something is getting missed. People are frustrated at wasting their embers when trying to craft plagued affixes.
You guys are building something extraordinary here, and I wish you all the best as development continues!
