A couple of players including myself were confronted with weird enemy respawns.
Sometimes they respawn off screen, sometimes they respawn when coming back later while not having left the biome (black trench eg).
I don’t really complain, because i need the loot, but it feels kinda weird, it would be nice to know what the logic behind that is.
You probably rotate enemy types. so that the nith take over after you kill the risen.
Is there a timer, maybe coupled with distance to allow for believable a respawn? how is that structured? @Caiden_Boulton @Nikita_Somin
For everyone else, please chime in. @Scott_gallagher mentioned that as well.
its the same for me very wierd respawns
thank you for the report. If you have any media of the issue that would help in investigating what is happening here

i think it might just be because of the alive system. it’s kinda nice that you can return to the same place with new enemies.
normally at the point where the video ends is the more jarring issue, that the wolf and the melee guy respawn a bit too early, didn’t happen in this case.
I can shine some light on this. It occurs a lot when you cross the border between areas. One area where you notice this specifically is the on top of the elevator at Mariner’s Keep when you enter Orban Glades. If you kill the enemies in Orban Glades, walk to the top of the elevator 9/10 times those enemies respawn and chests despawn. I’ll try to add a gif/video/picture in a few.
Also happens in Black Trench when you enter the area where the Darek boss fight is.
@Caiden_Boulton Here is a link which contains a video that shows the issue I am talking about: Unique Download Link | WeTransfer
Lemme know if you have more questions or need more files etc.
ps: ignore the music I have playing in the background, I play it to get that Templar Knight vibe going haha

The same ones too! I had some giant rats show up once and then the same bastard with a spear trying to gank me. I killed him and then died, and when I came, his twin showed up hurling insults at me…and this his other twin…and his other twin…(You see where I’m going with this, right?)
