Hello to everyone but most importantly the dev team, here is my opinion so far and what i think it s too much or/and needs a change.
- Echantments: since the breach there has been added so many echantment options… Way too many for an RNG to be let in charge for the options on an item. The point is that a player that gets or craft the armor/weapon he wishes, will want to enchant it but there are a nomber of usless enchantments that really do not help such asa bomb does idk what or charged attacks does idk what else and such. Before breach the enchantments were straight forward and didn t require for a player to have or do a specific thing for the bonus to take action. Also the purple enchantments… Are too punishable for what i explained up above. Let s say for example: fire infusion+armor increase at 20% health( no one will fight at that remaining hp)+ bomb increase dmg + focus passive regen(wich is useless cuz the regen is so small amount) and then the coin flip, weight decrease by 30% or unrepairable or only heavy dodge…what is this. And no exalting that piece wont make it worth because you simply don t have the better possitive enchas that will really help you.
- Elemental infusion: i get that enemies have resistances but man… From 120 a hit with no infuaion to a 40 a hit elemental infusion…that s a nerf to the ground i get that once you fill that elemental bar on an enemy it s gets a burt of dmg in the face… But no i m sorry the dmg decrease does not make up for that. Here is a proposition: keep the base weapon dmg ex. 120 dmg and then ad another 20 elemental dmg beside that we do not care if that elemental does dmg we only care if the target gets shocked or stun freez. Also the electric infusion used to fill the stagger bar faster, bring that back it s better than just an electric explosion.
- Gems: drop rate is low than it used to be digs chests and veins just can t make up for what we need and this topic of gems goes hand in hand with the infusion issue. Also the life steal percentage rate… It does not feel like it should idk how to explain it but it just doesn t seem to life steal…
- Oh and the armor in general… The difference of protectivness between leather and mesh is huuuuge, now leather feels like cloth idk what you did but… You messed it.
That s all for the momment i hope you take in consideration what i explained and i love the game and i really hope for a co-op dungeon team run type thing.
Heres my take on your opinion (no hate)
- Imo you can finish the game with worst gear or rolls so thats it. I think that the point of having many enchatmens means build variety and that awesome feeling of finally getting the godrolls you have been chasing these hours. Also im pretty sure the bomb thingie is there like a message from devs that bomb build and other fun mechanics will be added.
- Elemental infusion i kinda agree that apart from ice needs tuning
- Gems are called gems cos theyre supposed to be rare…
- and the armor just makes sence, imagine getting stabbed with leather armor or with mesh armor
i dont mind the RNG of the rolls. but having to proc the buff on the enchantments is ass. and arnt backstabs insta-kills (if im wrong plz correct me) thats the main one that seems to roll for me
I get you point but imagine crafting a piece of equipment and enchant it and you get:
+Full focus refill when parry
Hiw does that make any sens, or:
- Favorite elemental infusion
- Increase dmg after staggering an enemy
- Stamine back on attack
- Item weight decreas
- Regenerable health in combat
Again, giw does tgat make any sens
And there are a lot of echants tgat just simply does not benefit your play style. For me a dagger player with bleeder s delight, gettin an enchat that require to charge attack isn t optimal cuz those weapons do not have charge attack and many others.
I m not saing that variety isn t good all i m saing is that… Make it so it have sens cuz if the rng decides wich on what… That a gamble.
Well, theres a reroll mechanic for enchats, so if u get weapon with bad enchant you can reroll that, keep in mind that you can also get the weapon dropped again. I agree on parrying, i pretty much never parry cos its not comparable with rolling. Rolling is just far superior in every way, even when i use the heavy roll. Increase dmg after staggering is the most broken enchant against bosses, cos you can really clap em only when you stagger them. Stamina back is amazing on gauntlets. Item weight degrease can always help when you struggle with weight class. Regen health/focus feels really weak on that i agree. Only used cant repair on my hardcore campaign, in there its awesome.
Also thats the point that you cant always get every perk you want on a weapon that just dropped for you.

Wait how do you reroll the echantemnt and how do you get more enchants?
You go to the fallen ember and click use directly on it.
This allows you to add extra enchantment slots and reroll existing ones.
Blue items get 3 enchantment slots, purple gets 5.

on top of that, you can reroll also the negative effects!
