Steam Deck
It is hardly playable. I want this to succeed, so I’m soldiering on… but I’ve been getting full system crashes. Like, the Steam Deck entirely dies and I need to hard-reset it. This has never happened with any other game I’ve played on it.
I know It’s early access, so I am keeping an optimistic outlook. I mean, they got Ori running at 60fps on the switch so, I have hope. But, really hoping for some optimizations soon.
Before anything else, before new features, or anything, it needs to run well. The fact that you have a 4070 and you’re not even getting solid 60fps says it all.

Game ran great on 1440p 85fps limit “Quality” settings, while I was using my monitor. but I swapped over to my TV + Sofa setup for better comfort, using my controller.
TV is 1080p 60fps. Kept same “Quality” setting. Besides some random loss of audio from time to time, the game ran and looked great.
well game doesn’t have dlss or fsr, this is native performance. which game you played recently going above 60fps in native? there is basically none. if this game runs on steam deck at all kudos to devs.
I have :
CPU : AMD Ryzen 5 5600
CG : AMD 6700XT
RAM : 32go 3200mhz
Monitor : 2560*1440
On SSD
I get about 45-65 fps with quality preset. I expected a bit more nonetheless. (like 90fps constant)

GPU: RTX 4060ti

in a lot of areas i get around 30-45fps on performance graphics on 1080p
drivers are up to date , expected a bit more but idk if its just my system
Asus g14 laptop with a 3060 and a Ryzen 9 5900HS
Playing at 1080p lowest settings and its struggling. Sometimes it can get 60 fps but it frequently crashes to 20fps.
On my handheld 7840u gpd win mini at 720p it actually can maintain a pretty good 30 fps at the lowest settings with some dips to 20fps. It actually feels more playable on the 7" screen then the laptop running at 1080p.

Performance is somewhere in the 30s to 40s without dynamic resolution scaling, and with DSR it’s in the 50’s to 60’s but very uneven and I have seen drops as low as the 30’s. Tried playing with the settings but didn’t note an appreciable difference.
This is my experience on the ship, it might improve once on land but it was very jarring when I first started.
Windows 11
RTX 4060ti
Ryzen 7 7700
16GB DDR5
1TB SSD
Playing in 3840 x 2160 in Balanced mode with framerate capped at 40. It can be a bit inconsistent with the frames, especially when running around. There’s some stuttering on any settings I’ve tried. Runs great most of the time.
Windows 10
GeForce 1060 6GB
Ryzen 5 3600
16GB DDR4
Game installed on HDD
Runs ok except for the very laggy cinematics and looong time to launch and display animated logos at launch. A few lighting problems, espcially rim lights (very bright and flickering) ans some aliasing around models and effects.

Game runs mostly fine. It has some stutters that seem to happen most when destroying barrels. The game will freeze on start up if I have Fast vsync enabled in nvidia contol panel
I’m pretty sure there is FSR. That’s what the scaling options are.
I’m not hating, nor am I trying to demand anything. I just want my experience to be noted.

Windows 10 (64 bit)
Up-to date NVIDIA drivers. Only game running. I disabled Steam and NVIDIA overlays. No matter the resolution, I get 34 fps tops.
It is particularly interesting that running the game at 4k, and 1280x720 gives pretty much the exact same frame rate. My opinion is that it doesn’t seem to have to do with graphics somehow.
Both CPU and GPU seem to hover 65% usage, and there is free memory available.
I volunteer to run any tests to help troubleshoot the problem.
The game has problems with CPU usage and often the GPU gets bored. I noticed that the game works better in borderless fullscreen than fullscreen.
This. My gpu is underutilized as well for some reason, almost like theres a fps cap after main menu (not the settings one)
From what I read right now it seems like game has GPU memory allocation problem in another words game is GPU memory hungry.
