I got 10 dex, lowest bow i can buy from merchant require 13 dex, also i’m max level so cant add those stats while i constantly get Challenge to kill 10 enemies using a bow.
Please make challenges be based on chracter stats in a way it can be acomplished in a given day.
I would add, remove blocking and parrying challenges. Forcing people to play certain way is never a fun experience for players. You could add kill type of enemies x times or smth instead.
That’s why it’s a challenge and not a quest. It’s something optional and extra to do, not something you’re forced to do.
However locking players out of the challenge because of stats that you don’t have is a different story and shouldn’t ever be the case.
so what u r saying is that its not fine to gain a challenge of playstyle u do not enjoy cuz u decided to not put points in certain stat but its fine to get a challenge of playstyle u do not enjoy cuz u can buy a shield and one handed weapon and do parrys and blocking now?
I know this doesn’t apply to your post exactly, but you can complete the bow quest with a shield (lmao).
If your shield does damage, and you kill an enemy with the shield parry, it counts towards the “kill with a bow” challenge. I’m not sure why, but that worked for me.
Took me about 20mins just to understand what you said, but yes, that is exactly what I’m saying.
(Minus the playstyle stuff, playstyle is irrelevant)
Challenges and Quests should be doable by every character variation regardless of stat application and shouldn’t be locked because a character didn’t have X put into a specific attribute.
Every character can block and parry.
Every character can kill enemies.
Every character can pick up loot.
Every character can craft things (eventually).
Not every character can use a bow.
It’s not a challenge if it’s impossible, it’s impossible.
Challenges should always be possible.
so what happens with that ideology once the introduce respecs?
I’m with OP on this topic, but with respec I’m ok with this challenge again (since you can spec into having a bow).
Still, I think the challenges are mainly to inspire new players to try new stuff, and the bounties are for when you have a build you’re happy with
