I’m sure this is on your radar, but here’s the feedback anyway just in case.
The controller bindings are all messed up. When using default bindings, where X is attack and RT is utility rune, and RB is rune, things mostly seem to work.
Holding down RT or RB and then pressing X, Y, B or A doesn’t cause those 4 buttons to do their primary function, which is correct and expected behavior.
But I want to bind my attack to RT.
Having done so, which button could become the utility rune button?
The right trackpad press could be, but it also must be the enemy target lock button, which has problems because now one key does two things.
Another problem is that if the rune button defaults of X Y A B are rebound to something like the left button pad (left up right down), holding down the rune activation button does nothing to prevent the primary useage of those buttons from playing. Up arrow on the left trackpad eats food. Holding down the rune activation button does not prevent the up arrow button from eating food. It still causes food to be eaten.
I have not been able to figure out a way to get all the necessary buttons to work. All I wanted to do was rebind the attack button to RT. This has caused big problems.
It’s also unfortunate that I have these rear grip buttons on the steam controller that can’t do anything. Perhaps that’s a steam/controller limitation though.
