I absolutely agree. There needs to be some sort of camera overhaul. i can understand the design choice to not have free movable cam, but at least let us pan the camera so we can judge jump angles better.

or let us pan camera when standing at a ledge so see the surroundings and maybe check if there is a “secret” jump or climb.

there are quite a few threads already , regarding this issue. maybe we can manage to centralize them somehow. would surely make brainstorming more convenient,

Camera moving system

Need to add possibility to move camera as you do in Ori, with right stick. Sometimes it’s very useful, when you need some little explore territory for movement.

Camera should lead in the direction of Player movement and targetting

As suggested by the title, I think the game would benefit a lot if the camera was in front of the player according to the direction they were moving or just facing. This will help with seeing targets above or below the screen as well as help with not running off ledges to your death. When exploring particularly south, the camera is really felt cutting off what I might be running into. Camera Suggestion

I know there are a handful of camera suggestions currently, but I wasn’t seeing this suggestion. I assume the fixed camera is fairly important to your visual design, so I’m not sure how much room you have for changes. A potentially ‘simple’ add would be to let the right stick move the camera some small amount in the direction you hold as though the character were to walk in that direction. Mostly I feel a sense of frustration when I can’t see very far then I try to move the would-be camera stic…
