I know there are a handful of camera suggestions currently, but I wasn’t seeing this suggestion. I assume the fixed camera is fairly important to your visual design, so I’m not sure how much room you have for changes. A potentially ‘simple’ add would be to let the right stick move the camera some small amount in the direction you hold as though the character were to walk in that direction. Mostly I feel a sense of frustration when I can’t see very far then I try to move the would-be camera stick and just nothing happens. If it at least moved the camera over a bit so I can see a little further in the direction Im pointing the stick at the cost of visibility the direction away from the stick, it would feel better. I don’t know if this is the end-all be-all solution, but it seems like one that wouldn’t compromise your art design.
