The pre-input commands feel very strange. For example, when I’m trying to parry a monster’s attack, but I mistime it and parry too late, I end up getting hit and entering a staggered state. During the stagger, I might have pressed the LT button a few times, resulting in my character immediately performing a parry action once the stagger ends.
With greatsword attacks, the pre-input often leads to unintentionally executing an attack with a long wind-up. I didn’t experience this issue when I played “Elden Ring” or “Dark Souls.” Or is it just my imagination?
