I played No Rest for the Wicked recently and I found out that the agility ring has only 3 enhancements now. When I played the game several months ago, there were 4. The missing enhancement is Attack Speed.
I updated the game recently but I did not see anything in the changelog of the recent update mentioned about the agility ring. The only part of the changelog that mentioned about speed is this:
“Fixed Attack Speed enchantment causing Pig Sticker and Claymore attacks to end early and breaking hitboxes”
As everyone can see, it is missing the Attack Speed enhancement now.
I haven’t updated and played the game in the last several months due to works and I only updated the game recently yesterday (Saturday). After the update, I verified the game files and Steam did not download anything so it means all game files are good and not missing or damaged. I just wanted to make sure that this bug or issue is not caused by outdated or damaged game files.
After the Hotfix 3 update items are missing the speed enchantment. It is Overall Speed for armors and Attack Speed for the Agility ring. The Willow ring also does not have any effect to speed, either movement or attack. But only for newly obtained items.
In Hotfix 2 I did not have this issue. In Hotfix 2 enchantments were working. Suddenly in Hotfix 3 all items no longer offer Attack Speed or Overall Speed enchantment.
Items that I obtained before this problematic Hotfix 3 update still have the Speed enchantments, including the Agility rings that I obtained previously, either from purchases or containers, and all previously obtained items function properly, unlike items obtained in Hotfix 3.
The Agility ring obtained with Hotfix 3 misses its Attack Speed enchantment as well as items such as armors do not have the speed enchantment anymore, in addition to enchantments including the ones related to speed not working. I do not know about the enchantments obtained from the cards exclusive to roguelike mode The Crucible because I do not enjoy that mode. Old items with the same enchantment are still functional but newly obtained items are worthless to me because of this bug/issue and my character relies on agility and speed enchantment, not strength.
I heard from my friends who also played the game that Hotfix 3 is problematic and they stopped playing after they said they discovered bugs and issues with gameplay and items in addition to performance degradation that occurred randomly, and those who are still with Hotfix 2 and have not updated their game yet blocked and prevented Steam from updating their game so they do not have bugs and issues introduced by this problematic Hotfix 3 in their profile, characters or saves. I really regret that I did not ask my friends first before updating. I really wish I could return to Hotfix 2 but Steam does not allow me to return to Hotfix 2.
