Moon has constantly talked about how much of the game was built around multiplayer in mind, but there has never been any specific mention about how this applies to bossfights, or just enemy design in general.
The big fights we have so far generally dont feel like they have much of anything to be able to deal with more than one player, like for example the other players being able to freely wail on Echo Knight during more than half his actions if he just focuses someone else.
Dont get me wrong, i dont think everything has to be able to hold up and i 100% that some fights should be easier if you have other cerim alongside you, and coop should feel generally rewarding.
But its also bad if the overall game darts into the direction of, for example, souls summons, where as people often complain about, you cant usually really feel the battle properly, because it was mostly built for one player, and suddenly the entire pressure of the enemy’s moveset goes away.
It would be nice if we could get some word or demonstration on the topic of how they are planning to approach big enemies when it comes to multiplayer
