Bass challenge really grinds my gears

i know i can buy bass , but where can i catch bass? further more why is the bass challenge in the game if they are MIA? i need help mentally . cheers

Yes, some things in the current EA build feel out of place but when put together with future content will make more sense. I just ignore these things like the Bass or Silver collections. For now anyways;-)

Since Bass is T3 and Marin Woods(future expansion zone) is T3 we just don’t have access to it yet is all

Yeah, I feel like this for a lot of the dailies. And thing is, yeah, you can buy them. But why? The cost it takes to buy the stack required for the quest way exceeds how much you will get in return. Im not on the game right now, but you are going to pay like 3 silver to buy 5 bass, for only 1 silver in return and maybe some exp? But at this point most people doing this quest are already max.
There seem to be a lot of dailies in the game that require extremely high value materials that are very rare to get, and the reward doesnt seem to outweigh the cost of “is it worth turning this in for the reward or should I keep it”.
Maybe it would help if I could see what Im getting instead of just pictures, since I cant really make heads or tails of what the blueprints are, and item stats are completely random.

this bass thing. i started buying bass when i had leftover silver coins, just because i know some day this challenge will be back.

I also find the lack of birch wood quite disappointing. but i assume, that things like bass, birch wood and bear paws might just come with the next area.

and i can’t wait to explore something new

When I was about to play the game just now, it had to update a bit. Maybe it was a small hotfix, because when I went to the chef shop, I noticed that now Raw Bass costs 21c a piece. At a stack of 5 its only 1s 5c for the full stack, while the reward for 5 bass is 1s 75c.
So thats now a 70c net profit which makes it much more worth it.
