The new patch removed silver ingots for sale from the blacksmith. It is nearly impossible to get silver ore now to make the requirements for armor upgrades.
I just had to grind 30 crucible runs to get 2 bear claws, and I finally came out to upgrade my weapon, and I don’t have silver ingots.
Not a great change with the current amount of silver ore available.

There are only two available silver ore mining spots in the early access area. At this rate we’ll have the amount of silver we need by 1.0. Just sell us the stuff at a marked-up price if you have to, but don’t leave us to die of old age!

Where are the spots for mining silver ore???
One at Nameless path, at the very top of first query, and second one at alchemist cave, at the end of flower trip, funny enough, also at the top of location

I’m not saying this to argue or discount your opinion/feedback, but I have been getting several silver ingots from various chests. Got several from crucible runs, and elsewhere.
While you definitely get them slower, they can be gained through means outside of mining.
Some times the groccer might sell a silver ore on a reset!
Fortunately, I still have some in stock. They are really very rare. I think this is intentional and should be increased.
BTW, I am urgently looking for the bear claws. Where exactly are they available and who has them? 
I bought one from Grinnich and got one from Crucible after ~80hrs of playing.
So it’s all about rng for now.
I’m not arguing that you can’t find them, and that it is a slower pace, but with the amount of money I have been getting I feel like a miser with nowhere to spend my money. The shops are useless without the materials to buy. Or am I mistaken in that take?
Also, remember, everyone’s RNG is different. Some people are having the worst of luck, some mid, and others great! And all for various things. This is the issue with RNG’ing your economy without multiplayer to trade the items.
Yes, sometimes they do have silver ingots for sell. It is very rare. The deposit that is the only real option is the Nameless Pass one, as the other you have to go through the whole cave to get to it. Also, the deposits take FOREVER to respawn. Sometimes I have had a bug where it is 2 days real time where the silver ingots do not respawn. They should bring back silver ingot sales from the store at a higher cost or allow us to sacrifice hour silver we have money wise to craft them. Also, please reduce the smelt timer, that is crazy long 15 minute upgraded is a long time for one smelt of silver ingot.
