I was playing about 30 minutes ago, but I got an error and my computer rebooted.
So I tried to connect via steam to play the game again, and the update was there, so after completing the update, all the character data I played for 90 hours disappeared. How can I solve this problem

I can’t be 100% sure without seeing the data, you have instructions here on how to send it -
However, what you are most likely seeing is going to be fixed in the next hotfix.
In the meantime you should be able to resolve it on your own if you want to try -
- Launch the game and while in the main menu
- In Windows Exploded navigate to %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\Moon Studios\NoRestForTheWicked\DataStore or
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\Moon Studios\NoRestForTheWicked\DataStore, notice USERNAME is your username on windows - Copy this whole folder somewhere just in case before you start
- Look for a file that ends with .dat~xxxxxxx.TMP where x is some letters and numbers, lets refer to this file as the good file
- Next to that file you’ll see a file with practically the same name but without ~xxxxxxx.TMP, lets refer to this file as the corrupt file
- Delete the corrupt file
- Rename the good file to the name of he corrupt file by just deleting ~xxxxxxx.TMP
- Restart the game
It should work now,
