The area of customisation still needs some love. Accessibility is an idea about which I feel passionate, for two reasons, one is personal, the second is general. I’ve been playing games since “Pong”, including MMOs . About 15 years ago I lost the use of my right hand. I play with a Razer Naga Lefthand with 12 key numpad and a 3 key footswitch, and they open up the world, but I also know of players with CP and quadriplegia, who play using programs such as Eyemine, who not only can reconnect with their friends, but make new ones, and go on to full employment. If you can use a computer, you can be employed, you have self-esteem, you have a future. I just can’t use my numpad or footswitch, or get out of the hull atm.(lol) Accessibility opens the game and our world and this can happen if there’s a will to do it. The ability of devs/programmers to enable in this way is massive!
