Quality of life improvements:
Reduce Time spent fishing - does this scale with fishing rod quality?
Is it possible to have the cool, bloodletting Forgotten Sumlder animation in the first instance, but then speed up the animation or remove it altogether for future runs? It takes about 5-7 seconds before I can run to the lift, then several more seconds to wait for the lift…
More Spruce? A way to identify the trees?
A means of seeing the build paths for vendors - like a tome you can read in your house (to save travel time to vendors/stash). To clarify, I’d love it if I could know closer to real-time what I need to upgrade my items, as I need to run to my stash to get them and it’s a real time sink forgetting something or having to make more than one trip.
What is the functionality of the In game clock? Can I catch more fish in the morning and evening? Does it impact game play? Are there vampire type monsters that are more powerful at night? If so, neat! If not, can it be removed from the heads up display? If it was the real world clock, even that would be more useful to me than the in-game clock. But it is also huge on the screen for not really doing anything significant.
I noticed the additional soldiers are occasionally bugged outside of boss fight can’t hurt them but they can hurt me (Darak A fight).
Random logout bugs? There are a few bugs where characters can clip through walls to their deaths (rip durability/gold) and I often get stuck in terrain and places like a corner of the Mariners Keep where several buildings joinand it is very easy to jump into the space and very difficult to get out (I mash all the buttons and usually can manage it). Just the other day I clipped through a locked door in the Sewer, avoiding having to fight the miniboss for the key.
Increase the object interaction execute times and shorten the tooltip delays - I always slide on the Iona flower shine thing instead of just being able to click it, because the interaction window is so slow.
Increase the obeject interaction ‘hit box’- you really gotta be perfectly alighend to those chests. I would love it if you allowed for opening chests from behind.
Streamline the bounty hunting and challenges (including the wrong wording ‘it says abandon quest? when you turn it in’ and change the input key to something different than the abandon key!
Loot from enemies that fall (out of reach or that lead to death) feels bad man
Impossible fishing spawns?
Is it possible to change the default Ichor click-through? In two different play thoughts I have accidently clicked +5 item inventory slots while clicking through the dialogue and this alone is enough to practically feel like I’ve bricked my character at level 1. Especially when I was aiming for +5 resources to make my early game farming more valuable. I have never felt the need to more equipment slots but I constantly wish I had more resource slots.
This is my current feedback - mostly enjoying the game so far but would very much welcome a rethink/rebalance of the pace of play and the quality of life (compared to the slower, more deliberate philosophic approach that I still value as a goal for the game).
