This is just an idea I just had, I know we have the healing rune a part from the meals to heal, but I think it would be an interesting concept if you die in a boss fight and respawn, yo get the same meals you had before entering, that way it doesn’t penalyze as much the player that constantly dies to the boss. Of course if you beat the boss the meals you used during the fight stay used. Edit: having this system for the first big boss would help new players to learn the game mechanics later because at the start of the game maybe they don’t get enough time to gather resources to get a lot of foods for the first boss.
This might help players that are not as good and die a lot during boss fights. What do you think?
This new update gave us more food than anything, you already have no penalties for death, dark souls you would have lost those souls and would have to run back there to get them, no XP loss here, i dont even think there is gear degradation anymore.
Make more food, get back in there and kill the bastard, its not like you are gonna die behind the keyboard if you fail one more time, right? You dont have a heart condition do you?

There is plenty of food in the game. If you can’t beat a boss, don’t chomp down on your food. Just learn the fight, once you’re good enough then use food. Simple, easy, no need to change the game.
Yeh I notice enemies get stunned pretty quickly, could be because you have good gear also, maybe they should change that for endgame. Btw I couldn’t help but notice that you gain health when you hit, is that health on stagger or life steal?
Yeah now I see what you mean, the offscreen protection is a must though… You should be able to aggro them offscreen but they shouldn’t be able to attack you if you don’t see them, makes sense. I have to say I don’t have that problem with enemies though, they do attack me a lot. Could you please tell me what you have in your build to have life steal? I’m curious, is it a ring or an enchantment?
Ooh the life steal gem, I thought it only improved life steal if you already had it, thanks . They should put more extensive explanation on the enchants, and also let us see the % Interval the enchants can have, I personally like to see those
