It would be a wonderful element if you could carefully describe the process by which the processed product is completed. I could watch it all the way through.
As it stands, I think it is simply stretching the playing time and not making it interesting.
How does time gating give meaning to crafting for you?

This new change suffers from the Elite Dangerous problem. Now the best way to farm mats on a respawn timer that is crucial to upgrading is to get around the timer. By essentially:
Save the game close to node.
Go farm the node.
Force a realm backup from main menu.
Repeat.
This is not an objective improvement. It makes the game worse.
People that were already having trouble with the crucible now have no way but this exact solution. To get better gear/weapons to beat the dang thing.
I get that with new regions opening the appearance of new resources are bound to happen. But since we aren’t there yet in the EA. Why force this change right now?

I agree, requiring 10 silver for the initial upgrade of Tier 3 armor is insane. I find the vein deposits do not even reliably spawn sometimes taking hours for one and sometimes a couple of days real time. Just adding a lot of extended time to wait to upgrade armor.
