Here’s the issue: If you keep the joystick pushed so that the character stays in constant motion, pressing attack allows you to quickly cancel into a parry. However, if you don’t push the joystick and the character stands still, you have to wait for the full attack recovery animation to end before you can cancel into a parry. I believe this is inconsistent and would like the ability to cancel into a parry just as quickly from a stationary attack as from a moving attack.

Hm, I’m going to go ahead and say that this will probably never be officially recognized.

You will have to make do with what the game currently allows you. If you get the chance, shoot a question about this towards one of the developers (if they are active in Discord chat you can approach them) :wink:
