When trying to Exalt weapons, the Watcher’s menu does not display the correct amount of resources (sometimes ignoring resources in chests and other times showing the total resources including chests).
It also shows red (insufficient) for the wrong resource. I was missing 2 Marrows and it showed the red color text for the Marrows instead as an example.
Good find Gweddeoran, thank you for the effort of reporting.
I have relayed this information now.

The new Exalting in rookry is bugged.
It does not show the correct resources, and I am unable to exalt anything, when i do have the resources.
This only starts from the 2nd exalt that required the torn marrow.
Strange thing is yesterday and today I was able to exalt 1 item only, after that its bugged.
(I am using pre co-op patch items, not sure if that matters)
Exalting with the embers does work correctly.
BUT I THINK: the marrow/husk resources are inverted on exalt tab, see last screenshot!
When exalting resources show 0/0/0 (showing nothing)
When on the item to exalt it shows 1/0/1 (showing husk that i do not have!)
When looking at trade tab it shows 43/3/0 (showing correct value)

After I changed the 3 marrow > husk notice I have the marrow that i dont have:
And this lets me upgrade!
I was re-exalting a character’s gear that I’ve had since around the Breach update on the most recent version of No Rest For The Wicked, that of which being the co-op update. All of said gear, which contains armor and a couple weapons, have been “maxed out;” they were all brought to their highest possible enchantment potential and “Attack/Armor Rating” at the time (which was before the co-op update launched).
After the co-op update’s launch, I started re-exalting my armor at The Watcher, and there appears to have been no issues regarding exalting or using the new embers to swap some enchantments around (except maybe some more warnings and/or clarifications on what can be swapped to what grade of enchanted item with the essence embers would be nice)
However, when it came to my weapon, a level 16 Shattered Sun that had been previously maximized and exalted before the co-op update, I was only able to re-exalt 1 out of 4 times at The Watcher after the co-op update launched, even though I meet the requirements and have all the necessary materials.
I have a simple recording demonstrating the issue as I can observe in my game linked here:
I quit to desktop, relaunched the game, rejoined my online realm and the problem still persisted. As the recording captured, I also tried just re-entering my online realm, and the inability to further exalt my weapon remained. I even tried re-exalting the same weapon on a different online realm, and there was no difference. In the recording, I also traded for a singular Torn Marrow (online realm), which is all that was needed to exalt my choice of weapon once more, and the menu appears to have still refused to acknowledge the Torn Marrow(s) in my inventory and declined my request to exalt any further.
I am currently unsure if this would persist if I tried on an offline realm or with a different character with the same weapon, or if I can recreate this issue consistently with other weapons (new or old), or if I emptied my inventory entirely and got another Torn Marrow at The Watcher.
I speculate that the game or vendor (The Watcher) is somehow getting confused with what my true inventory is between my character(s) and/or all of my housing. Otherwise, it may be some strangeness with the weapon itself, where the game may think it isn’t qualified for exalting, or the possibility that pre-update items may have compatibility issues with exaltation that I can’t see, even though I already re-exalted said weapon once and have materials for the next upgrade.
I did notice that (in the recording) seemingly every time I swapped to the Shattered Sun weapon in the exalting menu, for a brief moment, the Torn Marrow cost (which was “1”) was initially colored white (indicating that I can exalt my weapon further) but then instantly turned red a moment later, indicating that it thinks that I don’t have enough of said material after that short moment of viewing that weapon. Perhaps if I was frame-perfect, maybe I could exalt the weapon again before that number turns red in the menu?
Further tests from other people would be very helpful.
I’ve attached the requested files below. Please be careful as they can easily get mixed with previous files I’ve shared in the past for different bug reports.
I must ask that whoever needs to keep these or any files (including recordings, etc.) in these bug reports to please download them and store them safely, as I am unable to store such files forever.
The husk and marrow are currently inverted.
If it shows 2/2/2 and the middle is red like yours that means you only have 1 or 0 husk.
so you actually have 1/2/2 or 0/2/2 not 2/1/2 or 2/0/2 that the game is showing.
Hi,
I have noted that in the latest version of the game number of items which can be used to exalting items are no longer available in The Watchers context menu (top left corner of the screen). It happens when the items are stashed in the box at home. When items are carried by character then counts in the top left corner of the screen seems to work fine.
Is it a bug or intended? In the previous version of the game stashed items were counted correctly.
