In the boss arena of the temple of day and night, there is a flickering effect when running around certain areas and directions, where the screen briefly goes black for a second. I think it could be the terrain on the bottom of the screen briefly blocking vision before it clears. It seems minor but when the boss fight is happening it can be disorienting when trying to keep track of everything on screen.
The issue can be reproduced by going to the boss arena and running to the far north side of the room, then running south (walking does not trigger it).

It’s a bit hard to catch in the video since it happens quickly but here is a freeze frame of when it happens.
Nice, I could reproduce this but not in the severity that you screenshotted, for me it was a very small area where you see that grid for less then a second.
Logs pretty please? Just for the team so they can see what system you run the game with.
Appreciate your reports as always Darth!

I think it’s somewhat related to move speed, I’m trying it now on my super move speed character and the issue is more noticeable the faster I’m going. My guess is that there is some terrain for the bottom wall of the cave that disappears as you approach it, but if you’re going fast enough then you can get there before it starts disappearing so it briefly blocks the screen, if that makes sense.
I added logs and dxdiag here! https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1pBF1taMVQiu2sbF3gCeB_pocAJAp795\_?usp=sharing
And here is a video showing the difference with move speeds. First two runs are at very high speed, second two are slower, and third is walking. You can notice the issue is most prevalent in the high speed one and doesn’t appear at all when walking. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1E6UXW1A1FOqVGNzQ7ALBN7xUsDpKVU6k/view?usp=sharing
It can also happen with fast rolls, I think that’s probably how I noticed it first when fighting the boss since it would sometimes happen while dodging stuff
Nice man, I am escalating this.

Hello
this is a known issue were currently looking into.
in the meantime may i ask you try something for me.
Rightclick NRFTW in steam, go to properties and put this into the launch options -force-d3d12
Tell me if that makes any difference.
I gave that a try, it does seem to have improved it a bit so the issue is less noticeable, but didn’t resolve it completely and I can still see the issue especially at high move speeds. Here’s a video showing it at 3 different move speeds with that launch option: https://drive.google.com/file/d/13YyiOmbtDXKROaGlxQ3dDXqib53J8JIh/view?usp=sharing
