megathread for speculation about upcoming updates.
everything in this thread is tentative, there’s a high chance for it to be wrong. proceed with caution.
i’ll start with the news about the update delay:
this marks the update’s first official delay.
it makes me wonder about how much of this update is actually finished if they thought it would be ready by mid-december.
additionally, it makes me think that if we’re not getting the update at TGA 2024, we might at least be getting a trailer.
it would make a lot of sense, since it’d kickstart the “marketing campaign” that moon studios has been talking about for a while, opening the floodgates for a bunch of new players to get interested.
It’s bad, I’m really looking forward to content updates, but if they are going to delay, I think there are reasons for that. In my opinion, it’s better to do it efficiently than with a bunch of mistakes. Thanks for the information.
Also, early access for PoE and Titan Quest 2 is expected at the end of the year, so there is something to play before the update comes out. As for bugs, there’s no way without them, they will be there anyway, that’s normal.
as you can see, there’s a glowy thing in the middle of both their wings. i believe this to be a cerim whisper, but corrupted in some way to serve the bosses and grant them power.
are these crucible enemies? i have reasons to believe they are. cerim culture seems to have a thing for dark aquatic blue & black colors. perhaps they’re arriving with the bossrush statue, that would make the most sense to me.
