Because of the top-down isometric perspective, judging depth and distance can be tricky at times. I often find myself thinking I can make a jump off a cliff or across a gap, only to fall short and die in the process. These moments feel less like a skill issue and more like a perception issue caused by the camera angle.
A small quality-of-life improvement could help reduce these accidental deaths. Even something very subtle—like a faint edge highlight, a brief landing indicator, or slightly clearer visual cues for reachable surfaces—would be enough. The goal wouldn’t be to remove challenge, but to make jump intentions clearer so failures feel more earned rather than accidental.
