Don’t you want to let the developers make their vision of the game? If you don’t like the enchantment, buy it in version 1.0
It can be nerfed to balance but also buff. If you only nerf everything that becomes strong you frustrate the player. And they do nothing but nerf. Balancing seems good to me, but that’s not balance…
now you are just trolling and i feed the troll.
there have been 2 patches. 2! but they AlwAyS JuSt NerF My GoOd StuFf.
suggesting a new feature, and complaining about a bugfix are 2 completely different things. but ok.
as you said, you do you. it only affects your fun. So why should anybody else care if you like it or not? I am really done with this conversation. you really want to misunderstand every point we made here except “stop nerfing the game”. so i leave you with your frustration. have a good one.
There have been two patches and you can see how many times the word nerfed appears in both fix lists. Compare them with the times the opposite appears… That is not balance.
And as we say in Spain: hasta luego Maricarmen!
in all seriousness the nerfs was justified, it was like having a god mode when you just didnt die when facetanking the echo knight and unlimited spamming weapon runeskill to kill the boss in matter of seconds. thats not how the game should work
To have that health or focus regeneration, a specific build was needed, which took a lot of work to build. So it is not so easy to go with those statistics. It’s as easy as not trying and playing normally. You don’t need to nerf everything that makes you powerful. I understand nerfing something that in itself is unbalanced like a weapon, an armor value. But I don’t understand why they leave broken buildings. And as I repeat, to balance the game it is also necessary to apply force in the other direction. It cannot be that the Echo Knight does so much damage and penalizes errors so much. That is why such broken builds have been made so as not to suffer. If it were balanced, surely no one would worry about using them. And I still managed to finish the game with a lot of effort, but I don’t consider it balanced in both directions. I only see nerfs.
I assume like many people playing this game, we want to create the most powerful build we can which suits our play style. Meta/OP builds are always going to be the end result of this process. People are always looking for some advantage. Some smart guy always figures out, despite the best efforts of the devs, to create combinations which results in something better and more powerful than other builds. Some weapons, gear and play styles are just better than others. People are going to gravitate towards them.
I think that they need to balance the game but like some other games they could allow players to be more OP in the regular PvE where it doesn’t affect anyone else and make sure no one has a clear advantage in PvP. Some other games have managed to successfully to create this balance between the PvE and PvP.
when the build is so powerful that it creates immortal character then that definitely needs a nerf. its like cheating, taking advantage from exploit
Even now, Elden Ring still has some builds which can one shot the Elden Beast but that build won’t work in PvP. I’m cool with OP builds in PvE but I’m not cool with anyone having a clear advantage in PvP.
I’m glad there are more open-minded people on the forum. Soulslike fans never get out of their ideas. If you are not like them you have no right to play. Exactly, as long as I can play my way without bothering anyone, what’s the problem? As long as it doesn’t affect PvP, I don’t see a problem with anything.
Any builds that make the game playable while sleeping are not healthy. Future content will be balanced around it so you’ll be forced to use it whether you want to ir not. It doesn’t help that it’s extremely easy to build to, requires little effort.
Do you think it is too easy to build a build in which you have to enchant each piece 20 times until you get what you are looking for? oh really? If you tell me that there is a broken weapon that kills enemies in one hit, I understand… That’s where I’m getting at with not being able to nerf everything. And, I repeat, if you are looking for balance, not everything is a nerf. You have to go in both directions.
Yes, because it is.
It requires a ring, a few affixes and a spammable cc rune and you stunlock the echo knight in a corner and kill him in 30-40 seconds.
It is not hard to achieve this since it is reliant on very few components. It is however, very tedious since enchanting is a lottery and it can require you over a 100 pieces of armor to get the item with the right affixes.
Which in turn incentivizes gear dropped in the crucible or armor from the blacksmith.
The issue which you refuse to understand is that almost EVERY META build is skewed towards focus neutral rune spam; with a few exceptions.
We need more build variety outside of rune spam:
-
Auto-Attack Builds
-
Charged-Attack Builds
-
Rune Combo Builds
-
Reflect Builds
-
Hybrid Builds
You are contradicting yourself. You say that it is not difficult to get an OP build and then you say that it is very tedious since it is a lottery and may require 100 attempts… That is not an easy thing…
Theres a difference between Easy and Simple.
It is simple, you need to move all of the toxic waste to a safe location. Thats not an easy thing to do.
That’s easy, just Balance the game. Which isnt a simple thing to do.
No contradictions here, you are just willingly pretending to be blind or still don’t understand the issue; again…
But, good to know that you see the following as a lot of effort…
-
Purchase gear from the blacksmith
-
Walk 5 seconds to the enchant lady
-
Sit in a loading screen for a few seconds
-
Click the enchant button with the enchant lady
-
RNG
-
Look over the enchants
-
Repeat until desired enchants
It takes several minutes to do this for a 100 attempts. Just like doing the dishes takes several minutes. Wonder if doing the dishes is hard or easy
Edit: since a lot of people seem to misunderstand. I am against this above loop…
Yes, that would be the way to go, if you like any of those weapons he has for sale. I’m not a fan of those weapons in his shop though. I wish they would expand what he sells or make more blueprints for other weapons available. My favourite weapons have all come from the crucible.
It is something for which you need a lot of money, time and patience. If you get a benefit in return, that’s fine with me. Just like someone who kills a difficult boss to obtain a legendary weapon. Whoever doesn’t want it can continue their game without wasting time, money and patience. It would be different if you could go to the blacksmith to directly buy one-hit kill equipment.
