There is currently a nasty bug going around where your main Realm takes a nosedive in performance no matter what.
Could you try and confirm that?
- please make a new Realm and see if your issues are gone now
- if that is the case, I would really like some files from you! They are outlined here: How to Properly Report Bugs!
And to retrieve those files on Steam Deck please follow these instructions: Playing With a Steam Deck Need Assistance Reporting Bugs - Users have also reported that just switching between Realms will already better things!
