First off, loving the game so far. The atmosphere, combat, and especially the day–night cycle are fantastic. That said, after playing co‑op with a buddy, we ran into a few things that could really improve the overall experience.
1. Map Overlay & Navigation
It would be great to have a quicker way to bring up an overlay map, maybe even with the most recently traveled path highlighted. The day–night cycle looks amazing, but it also changes the environment enough that we sometimes found ourselves walking back and forth trying to reorient. Could be user error, but a clearer navigation aid would help a lot.
2. More Varied Ranged Enemies
Right now, ranged heroes don’t feel very challenged. Most “ranged” enemies just throw a bomb, which feels like a bit of a cheap workaround rather than a true ranged threat. Having more enemy types that can pressure ranged players from a distance would add a lot of depth.
3. Enemy Pathing Issues
We also ran into some odd pathing behavior. One boss chased us all the way to the small bridge just outside Sacrament and then just… stopped. It felt a bit anticlimactic, and honestly we felt kind of dirty finishing it off while it stood there.
Despite these small issues, we’re really enjoying the game. The foundation is strong, and we’re excited to see how it evolves. Keep up the great work.
