Some mechanics feedback

Hi. Im new to the game, i have almost 20 hours playing and i’d like to share my thoughts regarding some topics.

  1. During early and mid game, focus gain can feel nonexistant. Too many actions are required to have a proper focus gain/generation and this is not fun. I understand you could want to force players to not spam rune attacks but there should be some sort of middle ground. Either every weapon is just a rune holder for spaming rune skills or we feel rune skills are used every few minutes. Also, some traits feel far too mandatory.
  2. Block and parry. I dont get why we can parry with any weapon and shield but we cannot block with any weapons. I get shield should be the most efficient at it but it doesnt mean a claymore could not get the job done.
  3. Fall damage is sick. its too realistic. Sometimes the time it takes traveling is quite long, reduced fall damage could offset this travel time.
