Personally my player fantasy feels slightly handicapped because here’s the thing I don’t want a sword that deals a ton of damage and happens to have fire/ice/lightning/poison. I want to have insert element as my main source of pain delivered to the enemies’ bosom.
Currently I either have a common which I do the following: add element infusion, add same-element enchantment, add same-elemental rune attack
or
I do this: enchant a weapon hoping it gets an element, slot in the corresponding gem to boost that element, then I only have 1 rune slot left to either add an attack or add in the element enchantment to boost damage.
Basically I want at least 50% of the damage I feel to be elemental if possible without becoming a caster/mage of some type. Change my weapon from a sword with fire, to be a fire sword.
