Not all of us, for sure, have their homes just filled with chests!
In the initial EA version I did do some decorating. But since the breach patch I just mostly did storage across two houses (2600 slots).

No decorations, just chests and a bed, in all hauses on 2 worlds.
I wish I could build a cozy home, like the hunter’s hut in Lowland Meadows, but unfortunately all the space in the house is needed for efficient gear storage.
