Shoulder barge/pushing ignored

Enemys that were pushed previously have a window of immunity against getting pushed again.
That means when pushing them too fast in a row, they ignore the second one entirely.

I dont think this is intended. They dont wait aswell.

Shoulder barge is somewhat tied to poise I think so it’d make sense that after 1 hit they would be immune as they recovered from it. It’s like throwing the same punch in boxing over and over, eventually it just doesn’t affect the other boxer as they know it’s coming and can “prevent” the damage either by moving with it or simply taking the blow because it’s not all that powerful anymore. Like trying to surprise someone after you already told them surprise.

I could be wrong though. I personally don’t use Shield but for Bounties but I think I see this as intended.

Most enemies are literally lying on the floor and stand up again. It makes no sense that I cannot push them again while trying to get up. If one needs a way to prevent “stun-locking” the enemy forever, it would be much better to simply make that move costing much stamina… and … it does exactly that.

So… stamina is wasted on “no reaction”… a lot… It is silly if the enemies can push me around while lying, but I must wait until they are finished with standing up.

I am pretty sure that is not intended.

Btw, this is not about a shield, but only works with heavy armor, independent on the weapon.

You are describing the fix yourself. Spamming to try and stun-lock is bad because it uses stamina with no benefit. As intended I think.

Same as using a Stagger Attack after breaking Poise. They aren’t meant for spamming after their effect takes place and thus you lose DPS using Staggers while staggered or using poise attacks when their poise is broken. I aim for damage after stagger, not more stagger as you seem intent on shoulder checking them to death instead LMAO. Sounds funny though…let us cold shoulder these fools to death.

Not sure I understand this part in relation to Shoulder Barge

Another example would be like using Scream to kill enemies. Scream is just a Rune Shoulder Barge IMO but uses a Rune slot and Focus instead of Stamina with Heavy Weight.

This, maybe where Blink helps Heavy more than Light during Combat. Shoulder them, blink and backstab for massive damage?

Maybe you should use it yourself, then you might know what this is actually about.

This is not a “cry because hard” post.
This is a bug report.

So, maybe to make it more clear:

Situation:
Performing a first shoulder barge on an enemy, then performing a second shoulder barge while the enemy has not fully recovered from the first one.

Expectation:
Both shoulder barges create a visible effect. It might be different animations and gameplay results though.

Reality:
Enemy is not affected by the second shoulder barge in any way. Neither visually, nor by status effects. The shoulder barge is animated correctly on the player, but on the enemy side nothing happens.
