Shared Realm has Disappeared for the Host

Also…. I just noticed that MY online realms don’t exist anymore. My friend doesn’t see them either. They’re just gone.

I got the same problem as everyone here. I can’t see the realm has the host but my friend can see it and entered it.

Does anyone found a fix for this?

No, the game studio hasn’t said anything in the last 48 hours, only that they were trying to fix it, which is taking a long time.

If they can’t fix it, I’ll probably be refunding the game.

Hello, I am never written anything to a game forum before but wanted to reach out and say that my almost 30 hour realm got deleted whenever the server outage had happened the other day, and I was unable to get it back even after following the suggested steps I had previously seen in the formun, any help is appreciated. Thank you

Been quite a long time since realms disappeared for hosts, and I have to say I’m pretty disappointed that this is still an issue. To make matters worse, you’re doing a free multiplayer weekend? It’s kind of insulting given the recent coop bugs. I love the game, I’m excited for future content just as much as anyone else, but y’all gotta fix your issues. My servers been in the shadow realm for weeks and I know my group would love to play again, but none of us are going to start fresh when we could just play other games instead of sinking 40 hours back into redoing progress. This isn’t the first time there has been this realm disappearance. Hope to see a resolution soon and not have this issue just swept under the rug especially as the game inches towards 1.0 release.

It’s almost been a month since the realm disappeared for hosts. This is getting ridiculous. Me and my partner just wanted to enjoy the story and have no plans to start a new realm. At this point the devs don’t care about this problem anymore. People on discord are glazing them too hard. They said they found the issue and it’s a backend problem. Sure you may take longer to fix but the issue is if this was a problem for every single player in the game. Would you take a month to fix. They stopped worrying about it because it didn’t hurt the player numbers enough. The game wasn’t review bombed enough. They actually don’t care about player experiences enough to fix the problem. They only want to sell more copies to new players. Very disappointing dev team. Most people having this problem have moved on to other games and I don’t feel like coming back anymore.

The team is actively looking into this, but it’s not something that can be fully resolved overnight. There’s a lot to fix, and it’s not accurate to say we don’t care – we’ve been restoring affected realms one by one while we work on Patch 1 to address this more broadly.

This is the first time we’re seeing a report about your realm specifically, so we had no way of knowing you were affected until now. The recent server outages were outside our control, but whenever someone lets us know they’ve lost access to a realm, we do what we can to help.

We have put out a fix that fixed the issue for some but not for all.

If you send me your Datastore, and playerlogs i can look into your realm.

  • Press the windows key
  • Type “Run”
  • Enter this into the run prompt. ⁨C:\Users%username%\AppData\LocalLow\Moon Studios\NoRestForTheWicked⁩

I have reached out on discord as soon on the first day and the first two weeks of the incident. All I got was “yes there is a problem”. It was mentioned on discord that they have found the problem and there was no instruction telling players having to send their logs individually to developers. So the best hope for most players is obviously to wait for an update.

If you have some trouble using a third-party program to submit the logs + Datastore, send them via Discord directly to Steve (stribbits).
