Having a lot of fun with the game so far but to upgrade items/the town you have to constantly have the materials on you all the time. I hope they add the ability to put items in your box then when you go to say upgrade the town you can see all the wood you put in the box.

Yes this is very important in the long run. It is absolute tedious to sprint to the item box every time you need a material.
@devs: Look at games like enshrouded or nightingale, they made the same mistake and had to patch this later.

Yes, stuff in storage should be available at shops without having to pick it up first. It doesn’t enhance the game in any way if you have to travel between storage and shops constantly.
Just picked this game up, and a lot of good stuff going on here indeed. But cannot agree more; the inventory management here sorely needs some love. I personally would love to have more inventory in general (enough upgrade systems in this game to forego the inventory slot upgrades), but IF the inventory has to be so limited, then at least let items in “stash” be useable from vendors in the main city when you want to upgrade or purchase something. I feel like I have played dozens of games that have made and later corrected this “mistake”. Feels stupid that developers are still thinking its fun to run and gather your stuff from stash, then go buy at vendor, then run the leftover items back to stash before going out again to explore and gather.
With stuff, do you mean item? Gear etc? Or crafting materials?
