Runic Abilities Need Some Love

I have been playing this game exclusively with two handed weapons, some of which have a large recovery time after the attack. Sometimes after long boss combos I attack and they start another combo and hit me during my recovery.

Instead of nerfing the boss aggression, I would like runic abilities to be able to cancel recoveries, similar to fighting games and EX moves. Additionally, I think that runic abilities should not have any recovery, since you have to spend focus (or health) to use them.
