New stun feedback

i tried out a generic sword and board build on a new realm today to see how the new enemy stun feels. i have gotten all the way to nameless pass with it. here’s my thoughts.

i can definitely say it feels promising.

wicked is already taking a lot of inspiration from fighting games through a super meter (focus), and the general importance of frame advantage in combat.
adding stun on all attacks doesn’t seem too out of the ballpark.
(note the only fighting game i played is HFTF, so don’t kill me if i sound dumb.)

however, the system needs work and i hope more time is spent honing stun into the best it can be.

here’s my suggestion:

faster/lighter attacks should inflict a lower duration stun than slower/heavier attacks.
this just makes sense to me.

it feels like Blood Rusted Sword stuns for way longer than it needs to. feels like i can get up, walk down the hallway, and grab a drink from the fridge before the stun ends. that type of stuff should be saved for claymores and big boy hammers.
this’ll also make shields not obsolete; if my sword stun is shorter than my shield’s, then it may be worth it to block an attack for that extra time.
