Would like descriptions for runes to understand their abilities prior to having to permanently equip it
add so you can see what a skill does and how much dmg it does
why is there no description of the runes? I don’t even understand what they do or how they work. Or is it somehow possible to do it, but I don’t know how?
Like we don’t know what it doing
absolutely would be useful. I 4 slotted a random dagger to try things out and then dug around in the stats menu to see what they were doing. Not everyone wants to gamble their in game currency and an unremovable slot on their preferred weapon to figure out what a rune will do.

I strongly agree, runes need description, as i had to check online to understand how to use properly one of them, and there is still one i have no idea what it does, as i only hear some weird SFX on the area i did it, and the title of it is not descriptive enough
I co-sign this.
Rare items like gem infusions should be known and unlocked at least after using one.
yes i dont know what my weapon skills doing can u add possibility to check every skill which weapon have ?
Yes.
What does skills/runes on weapons do?
Hello?

I have a hard time knowing what any of the runes do unless I buy them and waste my focus on testing them out.
Runes need to have descriptions in the inventory so that we can make informed decisions. It wouldn’t be a big deal if we could take them out without destroying our weapon but thats not the case. If you buy the wrong spells you could end up bricking your favorite weapon. I prefer mage type builds so the last thing I want to do is accidentally brick a staff i’ve been working on.
Yes they ABSOLUTELY do.
Bumbing this to keep it up, agree we need some descriptions with Runes and gems.
To me, it feels like they designed, built, and tested the melee mechanics first. Then they added staffs with magic Runes attached. By this point, the testers were already proficient in the melee combat system, so they took their mages into melee range, kicked ass as if they were warriors, built up enough Focus to cast spells, and then said “Yep, this works” and left it at that.
For someone learning the game from the ground up, the melee system is punishing - doubly so for mages who aren’t built to tank hits.
At the moment, it is very hard to know what each rune in a weapon does and what is a good and a bad rune.
We should have description for the runes in the weapon with the right power showing.
I would love if detailed tooltip a were added for runes and stats.
For runes one could se what exactly is the effect of a rune without the need of equipping onto a weapon
For stats like the armour it would help to understand how much damage reduction you get from the amount armour and so one could plan the build better by allocating only the necessary points into equipment load.

I want to theorycraft and come up with the perfect build for my character, but for that, I need info.
There should be a list of all runes on the website, and in-game they should have descriptions.
I would like to see the following info added ingame:
- Gem info
- We should be able to see the effects of gems when they are in our inventory and before we buy them at vendors.
(Not only after they are equipped)
Add both the effect and values, please.
- Rune info
- We should have a short description added ingame to all runes.
Both before buying at vendors and when the rune is in our inventory.
Add both text description and some kind of damage indicator**
** = Actual DMG value if possible.
The runes just dont have numbers on them or any way to figure if it is better than another for you until you wasted ressources to try it. So sometimes you don’t know do i want to take out this rune or add this one.. it can actually brick an item.. having the percentage of damage scalling or a tooltip of what its supposed to be doing etc would help figure out whats useful and what isnt .. i.e.: frost arrow shoots a frozen arrow in a straight line applying 25% feeze threshold and dealing 120% weapon damage as frost. Something of the likes.. could be just at the enchantress or a table in our houses..
Also same for the items like the ring that does deal | take damage on block and such..i heard there is actualy a roll for how much it will do but we dont know if one is better than another.
It would be great if there was a “Rune Codex” in-game. Something along the lines of a Pokedex in Pokemon games. Cataloguing all runes that a player has discovered so far. I attached a UI mock-up I made below.
The “Rune Codex” would provide more in-depth info about each rune. It would also be possible to craft unlocked runes by bringing required materials to the enchant NPC. The materials are also listed in the codex.
