Due to rounded numbers in some places its really hard to tell which item is better.
Perhaps you do not like showing decimals in the game. Luckly we can use radiant gems on enchantmants to check the values from 0-100%. However this cannot be used everywhere.
So for rings would be nice to see the decimal either on the ring, or atleast in the compare. (Another tip show the +/% numbers of the modifiers on the facet descriptions please!)
Example when its not visible:
When you have a 10/10 resist ring, you will never know it they are only 9.5%~9.9%
Here you can only hope you see your resistance changes by 1% on the stats tab to notice if one item is better.
Example where its visible:
The 2 rings below both have 9/9 resist on fire/ice.
Clearly one of the rings have something like 8.5% and the other something like 9.4% so that the compare tool (comparing to a 10% ice resist ring) can still show a 1% drop on one of the rings.
Example comparing 2 rings with exactly same resist(on UI) now in the game, you see 0/0 but you can only go off the green/red colors that they have some difference in value:
