Reward for leveling idea

I’m only level 11 and it seems when you level, all you get are some attribute points to spend.

My idea to make that a bit more interesting is this: Have multiple thresholds for each attribute that award something, similar to the equip load thresholds and rewards. Maybe offer two+ choices at each threshold to offer the player some agency.

For example:

  • At 16 stamina, gain a small stamina regen passive.
  • At 27 dexterity, all attacks from behind are critical strikes.
  • At ## strength, charged attacks knock non-boss enemies down or inflicts like 80% stagger.

Nice idea!
I’d even take it a step further by always granting a (very) minor upgrade to a passive.
And then at the thresholds a large upgrade, perhaps choosing out of two passives to create even more diversity.
