I cant play any other weapon, because of the requirements.
I cant respec, because i didnt reach lvl 5 in crucibles, eventho i only tried once.
But my damage is trash with dual daggers lvl 12, my backstab deals around 20% health on small enemies.
And i cant upgrade my weapon further because i need 6 materials of something ive never seen.
Thats simply extremely retarded to cut the player off from all other weapons.
Like what kind of chaos is this game?
It has no structure, like the recipe fix for the fruitcake.
Because i couldnt reach lvl 3 workers, before ive finished all projects.
And maybe some players dont want to play crucible.
So do i have to play the ENTIRE GAME with one weapon which is absolute trash, because youve no idea how to balance?
Instead of offering a respec in town for normal cost as it is.
So we can change to new weapons weve found.
Like what is wrong with you?
Do you think most people will play this game for 1000 hours to be able to finally test other items?
The combat in this game is currently so bad, i cant even enjoy a few hours.
So the average player leaves this game with the experience of playing 1-2 weapons and probably not even different armors because of weight.
Completely incompetent, when it comes to any aspect of gameplay.
Game looks beautiful and the story, cinematics and introductions are great.
But thats the only thing you can do somehow.
And performance is bad too, after so much time.
One of the biggest disapointments in gaming.
What are your stats?
I think 30 life, 40 stamina, 15 strenght and agility for requirements and like 16 focus and 28 weight.
And im STILL constantly out of stamina with a light dodge and dual daggers.
So bad that the enemy stagger bar and sometimes even status buildup resets, before my stamina recovers and i can attack.
Im playing lightdodge with daggers and stamina in every game, but ive never experienced something like that before.
Stamina is the hole essence of the build and usually you have zero stamina problems.
The entire combat system and balance is just a total mess in this game.
So many problems to begin with.
But either way, i cant even respec to actually play another weapon or change armor types.
Only after i beat the game?
Most players will already quit at that point and have the worst gaming experience or atleast a total incomplete one.
The stupidity is beyond me.
So you have bare minimum offensive stats, dumped half your points into stam, and you think it’s the game’s fault that you’re doing no damage?
Are you stupid?
First of all this build is like a cheat code in every game, because it offers the best survivability, movement, options and endless pressure.
But even with this build i cant do any pressure, because im constantly out of stamina and dual dagger status build up is ridiculous now. Which is also one of the strengths of this build in any other game.
So i chose to do less damage, but make it up with everything else.
But not in this extremely retarded game, that is catering to those heavy players who are lobbying their build 24/7 on the forum.
But this wasnt even my point AT ALL.
My point was about respecing to actually use another weapon you find, because the requirements are extremely high.
My storage is full with weapons i cant use and i also cant craft weapons from the vendor, because of mats ive never seen.
And i cant enchant, because i dont have the recipes to recreate the gear and i dont want to gamble.
And i cant fully use infusions because the drop rate is ridiculously low (now theyve increased it)
So youre stuck in a cycle, because this game has zero structure.
And EVEN IF ive messed up a build (which i never do), now i cant respec before i beat crucibles.
But you cant beat it with a messed up build.
And you cant improve ur gear without beating crucible.
So ur stuck in a cycle AGAIN.
And maybe someone doesnt want to play crucible at all because its a roguelike.
So now his progress is blocked by a gamemode he doesnt want to play.
These services shouldnt be locked behind a specific gamemode.
Yes, every gamemode can have its benefits like exp or loot or gold or mats.
But NOT services.
This is BASIC knowledge.
But here you are, spending ur time to ask “WHaTS uR sTaTs??” just to copy paste ur prepared answer “uH uR So bAd bRo” “sKilL iSsuE”
Eventho ure probably 10 times worse than me in any game.
But like i said you didnt even have the understanding of a 5 years old to get the point of this feedback.
Enjoy urself.
Lmao, dude you are actually trolling. How can you even think that if a build works in other game it will work here. Wtf, where’s logic in that. Also if you don’t have stats a weapon you can still use it and it might be even better what you currently have.
Weapons operate in a way where the closer you are specced into the minimum requirement, the less of a punishment you get for not meeting it. If I have 38 dex and the weapon requires 42 dex I won’t lose nearly as much damage as I would if I had 0 dex and 38 of some other stat.
Also, in my experience, this game really rewards speccing very aggressively into the main attribute of your weapon.
I understand your point about how investing deep into stamina doesn’t feel very rewarding and honestly I think that is something the devs should take a look at. But I also think that there are a lot of ways to manipulate stamina via enchantments through armor, rings, gems, etc. that would alleviate your specific problem.
As for the respec in crucible, if you play enough, you will come across an echo that allows you to skip straight to the vendor, even if you have to take it one monster at a time.
Unfortunately, the game as it stands has a bit of a learning curve into what works and what doesn’t, but it feels really good when you figure it all out.
Yes i understand that with the attribute points and i understood now that theyve ruined it.
Now the most rewarding thing is to spec into damage, because it also increases the status build up, which is fine for big weapon players, but faster weapons should still always do more build up.
So with more damage and more build up, i probably wont run out of stamina before killing the enemy, even if i remove stamina attribute points. Which is total nonsense like youve said and yes i know about the other ways for stamina, but if i dont get the drops or enchantments, then it doesnt help me.
Ive played and finished this game before and farmed crucible boss, because build were totally broken.
I know all the old mechanics and like i said i only tried crucible once this playthrough and reached lvl 3.
Im sure i will reach lvl 5, but its just not fun with this weak build and weapon.
And there are builds and weapons created by beginners which are much worse,
so what should they do?
When i make a sugestion i speak for the entire playerbase to make a better game with better game mechanics.
But most players only try to buff up their own builds to make it even more broken.
Like for example the new change that all dodges cost the same stamina.
I mean i can understand it and accept it, because light dodge is faster, but it makes light builds even worse now.
And the trade for medium and heavy dodge is the higher armor or higher damage and stagger damage from a bigger weapon. So ofc it also costs more stamina. But like i said, people are just lobbying for their builds on the forum 24/7 and clueless devs fall for it and ruin the game.
And the iframes of light dodges are also trash.
But the point of my suggestion is that players should be able to switch to a new found weapon in their campaign playthrough and if its locked behind attributes, then allow players to respec at any point.
Simple and obvious as that.
I just cleared all maps and started the questline with that door breaching.
And tried crucible once with lvl 30. So im not done with everything, but combat is rly bad and not fun at all right now. It was much better last year, eventho builds were much more broken, which was the reason why i stopped.
Its just extremely frustrating and disapointing that they still couldnt figure out a decent combat system and balance after years. I rly thought now theyve most likely perfected the combat after 1 year of work.
But i just saw the news about a new class system 30 minutes ago, so maybe the reason why the current combat state is so unbelievably trash, is because it will be exchanged with a total new one.
So it gave me a spark of hope. But it still doesnt rly explain the many retarded changes theyve done with this patch.
To be honest, i think they simply arent competent enough to make a proper combat system.
But theyve done a good job on many other aspects of the game.
But why would you do a combat based game, if youre actually clueless and visionless when it comes to combat.
Idk, anyways thanks for ur reply and clearification.
