After playing the game for nearly 160+ hours, to be honest, I’ve probably only gone fishing less than 10 times. Looking back, maybe I’m just too lazy to fish.
- The resources obtained from fishing are not as important as wood, ore, or clay, which can be used to upgrade buildings or equipment.
- Fishing spots are not located along the main route, so it’s not as convenient to fish as it is to gather wood, plants, or ore. (Maybe they are, but why don’t I ever go fishing?)
- There are too few opportunities to fish at each fishing spot. Fishing is already more difficult to execute than other resource gathering activities, but you can only fish once at each spot.
- The visual and auditory experience of fishing is not as satisfying as chopping down trees or mining. For example, there’s no satisfying explosion when mining the last hit, and there’s no impactful sound effect or visual effect when chopping down trees.
Suggestions:
- Consider increasing the number of times you can fish at each fishing spot.
- Enhance the fishing experience.
- I tried fishing when I first started playing the game, but haven’t since then.
- Every time I play the game, I actively gather resources from most fishing spots.
- If I see a fishing spot while passing by, I’ll collect from it, but I rarely go out of my way to fish.
- I often fish specifically to craft items.
