RESOLVED : Unable to log in on my main private realm

I’m a new player. 26 hours in and really enjoying the game.

Unfortunately, the game crashed today as I was farming some cores in Nameless map. After the crash, after selecting my character and to “start from the last whisper” it will load but will kick me back to character and realm screen (home screen).

Here are the steps as suggested in the NRFTW Discord.

  1. Verfied game files.
  2. Made sure game is close and steam as well.
  3. Shut down the PC waited for 5 minutes to boot back up. (still issue persist)
  4. Created a New Character > Teleport to Portal in Nameless going to quarry. (kick me right back at the home screen again)
  5. Logged in my main character in the newly created realm - all good. (but unable to go to nameless as no teleport and it would take me hours to manually reached it.)
  6. Uninstalled the game.
  7. Clear temp files and made sure no existing folders of the game in steam.
  8. Installed the game to my new main M.2 SSD (same as OS)
  9. Same issue exist.

ISSUE HAS BEEN RESOLVED:

Change the realm from Private to Shared. Had a friend joined and confirmed he has no issue on nameless quarry map on the same realm. At first I couldn’t join but as soon as he logged out I was able to join my realm and teleported in nameless map with no issue as well.

Hey tajdmd, that’s really good to hear you got it working again!

To be very clear:

You had a problem with a local Realm?

Then you shared it, invited your friend (you could not log-in while he was in in the Realm), he logged out; and you could join your own Realm again? or did you also first set it back to Local? (by kicking him)

The issue:

My main character could not logged in on my only and local realm.

How is the issue triggered: As soon as I walked towards Quarry in Nameless .

Hello,

Today i had a disconection during game to your servers. Back in the menu, the game advice me to launch again the game and connect again to server, so i did that. But back in the main menu, my character was still here but impossible to continue, and i had no realms.

After some launches my realm reappear, everything is good now !

hi im “friend”. we basically had set the realm from private to shared, had me connect to it, have me put a random item into the community chest in the rookery, to make the realm save when i would leave it again. that creates a new and clean save of the realm. next time he reconnected, he was now able to access the new cloud save of the realm. or just connect, the desynced save message might not even pop up.
