I am struggling with this mechanic as well and my suggestion to make it more feasible, satisfying, less frustrating in general is this:

Idea for merging Embers with Gems

It can be very frustrating to waste dozens of embers and still not get a desired enchantment - at this point, using embers is only feasible for changing negative enchantments on Corrupted items If we could merge Fallen Embers with gems to turn them into Offensive/Defence/Focus/Health/Crit/Stamina Fallen Embers that roll for an enchantment in that category and doing the same for Sublime Embers so they improve what the player actually wants improved, making them work like Radiant Embers, would ma…
