i thought i read somewhere in a patchnote that 1h and 2h enchants have maybe different values, making the 2h ones a little stronger to make up for the 3 or 4 more enchants you get using a shield offhand for example.
But i cannot find anything like that when im searching.
Now did i imagine it, am i too dumb to find it, or was that maybe a plan for the future?
Or did i even read it somewhere here as a suggestion or feedback?

since it seems you havent read the whole thing, i was asking if it was maybe sth being planned as said in a inside episode or being discussed here as in a suggestion or feedback maybe as well cause i just dont understand where i got it stuck in my head from.
ye the runes i know as well, although im not a big fan of calculating everything to the last number, thatswhy i play most runes just based of feeling.
i thought i read sth about the enchants, cause as it is for example a staff will usually be always weaker than wand + shield, since runes are not exclusive for one of them anymore since a while now and so you get same runes plus more enchants.
this is mainly why i thought about it. cause i like staves.
i still play them cause its fun and i know the base dmg is higher and u probably save a little weight but still everytime you encounter a little struggle you think i could switch the exact same build plus i get block.
idk still feels a little undertuned just compared to the other.
i know in general mage spells do still high dmg but i wish there was a little more to down and upsides when deciding between the two.
and yes, its not a big thing, but as it seems i totally imagined the whole thing
using a melee 2h weapon rune on a staff is kinda “useless”, cause obviously the multipliers for magespells are much bigger atm, so you get a melee attack which does okay dmg, but all the spells will do more dmg for probably the same or less amount of focus. most of them at least.
like for example if you could use some staff runes on a 2h melee weapon, ppl would do it in an instant cause you just get that much more dmg output then.
but ill try that out just to get a feeling for it.
like the eruption/fireslam rune could be interesting in a staff for example. kinda weird the lightning slam is 1h and the fireslam is 2h if thats not a mistake on the list but ye, it is what it is ^^”
do you know why the armageddon rune is twice in there, once as melee once as ranged?
