Can anyone explain me why two handed/dual wield weapons have 5 enchantments and 4 runes,
But an one handed weapon and an offhand weapon have 10 enchantments and 8 runes?
Did i miss something?
You didn’t mention Duel Daggers and Fist weapons having the same problem and 2h. Thematically/RPG wise it doesn’t make sense. It could be balanced to work that way, but it deletes customization by having less affixes to include in a build. From what I’ve seen the affixes are not any stronger for weapons that limit an offhand either.
I said dual wield, meaning dual daggers and dual fists.
Ye it doesnt make any sense and the enchantments arent twice as strong either.
But making the enchantment twice as strong wouldnt solve the problem.
Like youve said, the diversity is important and elemental infusion enchant cant be made stronger.
Not to mention rune slots.
I really cant believe this is real.
I must be missing something.
Sorry was late and was just upset about my gearing so had come here to agree with you lol
It’s EA there will be a big rework, I can also see with the “talent” or “job” system they add that they could bring these weapons up to par with the others. It’s definitely a reason why ARPGs like Diablo/POE have them, because then there are many venues to buff certain things without editing every weapon just say plus whatever on the skill/talent tree.
I’m used to having 2h having the downside for being big hitters, just not used to seeing it with duel wield because normally you can choose which weapon you are wielding in each hand. This is a jarring change because they need to animate a move set for each “duel wield” weapon together to give them identity since it’s not the same animation. Maybe they would just let main hand weapon dictate the moveset and let us have different dagger/gauntlet in the offhand allowing a power/customization buff with having extra affixes to play with. It would also expand the off hand role which is extremely lacking.
ye, lords of the fallen did it like that with the main hand determening the moveset.
but the off hands weight contributes to the animation speed.
Skyrim did the same ^^ One hand sword in main hand and dagger in off hand, was like a cheat. made the dual attack ridiculously fast.
But ye im actually happy with this approach having dedicated dual weapons.
i dont care about that tbh. Both options are fine for me.
As long as it is balanced and have the same enchantments and runes as other weapons.
Its a simple fix, but maybe ure right. maybe the new class system will change that too somehow.
Atleast theyve removed the RNG for stamina consumption and focus gain and item weight for weapons yesterday.
That was also an extremely bad decision.
So it goes in the right direction, but it takes way too long for those obvious and easy to fix problems.
My gear is now maxed out, but im still missing one electric infusion gem, because the drop rate are so ridiculous.
I hope theyve also shadow buffed that yesterday or will do it in the very new future.
Its an insult to gamers to let them grind like crazy for nothing.
Same for blueprints.
