Welcome to the community.
This has already been suggested several times in various topics:
The wait time between using consumables feels unnecessarily restrictive. While I understand its intent to increase the intensity of fights and encourage tactical gameplay, I believe it detracts from the overall experience. Personally, I find myself more focused on when I can next heal rather than fully engaging in the fight. If the goal is to make fights more intense, perhaps utilising consumables strategically could better enforce tactical gameplay – for example, allowing players to use them wh…
The above has already been reviewed by the developers.
Others include:
I want to point out food (healing items).
So both Souls-like and Diablo has a flask for a healing items that has no cooldown.
In Wicked we have plenty of healing items in my opinion, but on a 20-30 second cooldown.
This to me seems counterintuitive as it slows down gameplay. Food that has buffs I can’t understand having a cooldown as what is the point have the option buffing multiple times but have wait for 20-30 seconds between each almost loosing the buff in the process. Food that just heal…
I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve died to debuff waiting for the counter to heal again… it’s starting to annoy me!
At the moment healing in the game can only seem to be done by eating limited food resources. I don’t think this quite works as a general system. It’s primarily an issue as it leads to the slog of needing to fetch your healing materials back. Having ONLY food as a way to heal means your only solution is to end up doing this tiresome trail.
Firstly small food doesn’t heal nearly enough to be considered viable. E.g. a mushroom. I understand this is needed to incentivize the need to cook. But when …
And I am sure there are more.

Yeah, the cooldown on healing doesn’t feel egregious, IMO. Cooldowns are pretty common these days, and I enjoy having to think about my next move rather than rushing into combat swinging wildly.
I could see the cooldown timer being slightly shorter, but I ain’t mad at what it is currently.
Also, damn 80 hours of running away to heal? Sounds like a faster-paced game may be better suited to your play style. It seems Moon made a lot of choices to make combat more plotting and deliberate.
