Cannot heal with serendipity ring

Hi, I’m currently experiencing a game breaking bug, I suspect it is related to the serendipity ring, which makes heal over time instead of instantaneous. Sometimes for no reason, I cannot heal, if I use another consumable before the heal over ten second is finished it will be the same. So when it happens on a boss I really have to make sure to survive 10 seconds waiting for the healing icon to disappear before I can use another heal.
