I’ve been clearing pestilence like 4-5 times but haven’t dropped any legendary item yet. Neighter from the story bosses during the campaing as well. It wasn’t like this before breach update I mean legendaries weren’t raining but it was ok. Now it feels like impossible to get.
Are you playing on Pestilence 1?
Because if you are, the chances are very low.
There is a mini boss outside the gates to Marin Woods that almost always drops legendary and resets every game day cycle.

There is one such mob in the Meadows pit as well (where plagued water was originally).
yeah only 1 time cleared lvl4 and that was nothing as well but I will focus to clear lvl 4 now ty for the info
One thing you can do to make it easier is to clear all the mobs on lvl1 and when the boss appears then go a campfire and burn 3 embers or whatever you need to burn to get to level 4. That way you don’t spend too long on the mobs and boss will drop lvl4 loot.
this somehow sounds like an exploit

It’s not really an exploit per say, because since he did all the pestilence in level 1, each mob he kill didn’t drop as much of the torn resources as it could.
But it is faster to just rush the boss if you want to clear fast. Kind like just burning an effigy to insta summon the boss
It’s not an exploit because as Diego said, you don’t get P4 loot for the trash mobs. It’s just a faster way to clear to the boss. The boss will still have P4 buffs and you will have debuffs when you fight it.
That’s what I do now, but when you’re just starting out, those effigies are kind of expensive so it makes more sense to clear instead and get a few extra sinews.

wait can we actually increase the tier during pestilence didn’t know that since no mobs spawns even if I burn for pestilence after clearing the whole area thought it wouldn’t be possible
Yes it’s possible.
Clear the whole area first. When the boss spawn, then increase the tier by burning stuff in the fire. Burning goats blood or embers is the most efficient. After that, the boss will be higher tier.

there is no exploit… it’s the game that is made with the feet.
the rewards for purification come only from the death of the boss so you can decide when to raise the level (which then does not change anything since if you manage to kill the boss you will surely be able to kill the mobs too).
the fastest way to have all the legendaries is to farm the crucible, if you hope to find them by playing the campaign and cleaning plagues it will take you your whole life (for what it’s worth since they are all pathetic except for two rings)
