First off, I think the game is amazing story-wise — it’s genuinely engaging and immersive. The world and atmosphere are top-tier. That said, there are a few areas where I think the endgame experience could be improved to make it more enjoyable and rewarding.
- Limited Farming Options for Gear Progression
Right now, I can’t effectively farm the Crucible because I’m missing key perk rolls on my gear. To reroll perks, I need Fallen Embers, but at this point, the only reliable method to get them is by doing chest runs. Personally, I find this approach repetitive and not very fun.
It would be great if Fallen Embers were added to the drop table of high-level enemies — for example, enemies level 20 and above. This would give combat-focused players a more satisfying way to progress their builds through actual gameplay rather than relying on loot runs.
- Dodge Delay and Controller Responsiveness
Sometimes, I feel like there’s a slight delay when dodging, especially noticeable during intense combat. On controller, this becomes even more apparent. Dodging doesn’t always feel as tight or responsive as it should, which can be frustrating in high-stakes fights. It might help to revisit input latency or animation canceling to make the dodge mechanic feel more reliable and immediate on controller. - Enemy and Item Encyclopedia (Pokedex-like Feature)
I’d love to see a feature similar to Monster Hunter’s monster journal, where you can track legendary enemies and items. Something akin to a Pokedex for all the legendary creatures, bosses, and rare items would be a fantastic addition. As players encounter these monsters more frequently, they could unlock additional info about their drops, weaknesses, and even possible strategies for taking them down.
This could add an extra layer of depth and exploration, encouraging players to engage with the game’s enemies and loot system in a more methodical way. Plus, it would be great to have more detailed insights into the monsters as you hunt them, turning each encounter into an opportunity for deeper knowledge and better preparation.
Overall, I want to thank you for all the amazing work you’ve done with this game. It’s a unique experience that I’ve thoroughly enjoyed, and I appreciate all the effort that has gone into its creation. Keep up the fantastic work!
