I play on a PC and steam deck. In the yesterday evening I downloaded hotfix on the steam deck and in the morning, starting the game on PC the character and the world are gone. On steam deck also the character was gone.
I played 17 hours.

I have a second account that my GF plays on, I think this is her folder. There are 3 files
And there’s also a folder where there’s an account file without a world and without a character
But when the game is running, I don’t see a .TMP ending file
I got the character back. There’s some kind of save in AppData. And since I have 2 accounts, I thought it was weird that I had 3 folders and just copied the files from one folder to the other. That got me back both the world and the character. Most likely there was a bug and the game created a new profile for me or something like that. I actually just wanted to try to cheat and copy the character from another account, but it worked out even better than that
