Multiplayer conception explanation

Good day everyone. I think the topic name is already explain what will you see in text but anyway.

Correct me if I’m wrong but there is luck of info about what can we see in multiplayer in global sense.
Of course any direct answers from Dev team can be uses in future as punches “you said but not did!” but with last changes of Crucible, luck of equip drop, some mechanic changes it’s to abstract to see multiplayer features in this beautiful game.

I believe it will be great if we just see at least thoughts of how Devs see the multiplayer in this game:

  • how story will work
  • how interaction between characters will work: friendly fire, trading system
  • how will work house system if outdoor player will want to buy a house in your real
  • will it be like in Nightingale game where you have a hub-town where many players be together and outdoor will separate players who not in the group or you will see other ones running somewhere.

It’s just a bunch of questions that need to be answered.
This game already feels like something fresh. I told before and will repeat it again and again: lvl design, weather, combat animations, global art - so beautiful thing and it will be great disappointment to not have a possibility to understand how we can share this between our friends, motivate them to play together.

Sorry it was a long sentence)

I think you need to be patient, there are still a lot of issues with the base single player and a lot of bugs, the time to move forward with multiplayer is after these are resolved, and if new features are introduced now, the bugs will increase exponentially. When the single player gameplay tends to be perfect, that’s when the multiplayer will start.

Oh I don’t speak about “we need multiplayer now”. It would be great to understand the “vision” of how possibly multiplayer can looks like in Devs eyes.

Of course, you have a reasonable claim. I don’t want to discourage you though, but in my experience at this stage it’s possible that they haven’t figured out the exact story development and rules for the multiplayer mode yet, so they won’t release a bit of information - after all, they turned on the EA, it’s their first ARPG, and they’re still building up their experience and carefully testing out every feature.
