More customizability for builds

Not limiting the runes that can be infused to a weapon by type, for example in a one handed sword that scales with int and strength the player could be able to infuse a fireball.


I’d like to see more ways to build a character in general. The rune slotting is ok, but only having that and our stats doesn’t give us a lot to work with in terms of character builds. With the character stats only serving the function of meeting requirements for gear and increasing base weapon damage we really don’t have much in the way of build diversity. On both of my playthroughs now I’ve just picked a weapon category and stuck with it the entire run only having my basic attack and one or two rune attacks. I’d love to see a bit more depth in character building. Hopefully that’s something that’s planned.
